Liège (Ans), Thursday 18 April 2024. Trasis, a leader in nuclear medicine, is celebrating its 20th anniversary in the service of healthcare and inaugurating a new 5,000 m2 building to serve its customers and partners even better. At the heart of the event, innovation is reflected in the essential contribution made to the creation of new radiopharmaceutical drugs dedicated to the diagnosis of cancers and neurodegenerative diseases. In recent years, the company has emerged as a key player in ‘theranostics’, an innovative form of targeted therapy revolutionising cancer treatment.

Trasis is entering a new phase in its development with a new building adding 5,000 m² to the existing 3,500 m². The new space includes a mechanical assembly workshop of almost 700 m², user-friendly office and community areas, synthesis and quality control laboratories, and clean rooms.”

Trasis has achieved record sales of €70 million in 2023, up sharply from sales of €25 million in 2020. The company invests over €5 million each year in R&D alone. The family shareholders continuously reinvest profits in innovation, infrastructure and international expansion. As a result, Trasis has recruited more than 250 new employees since 2020 and, based on current forecasts, is still actively recruiting to reach around 700 employees by 2030.
