In 2021, Trasis has embarked on the construction of a brand-new building. A project that expands its headquarters by more than 5000m².

Ans, Belgium, January 17, 2023 – More than a year after the start of construction, the project’s progress will have an effective impact in 2023, with an expected completion date of November 2023. Some areas will be completed before this deadline and will see different departments gradually migrate to them. Everything has been planned to ensure that these moves do not affect production and shipping. The objective being to avoid disrupting productivity and work organization.

The status of the headquarters

The historical offices, located in Ans, represent 1,456 m² of office space and 1,850 m² of storage. “These spaces were showing their limits in the face of our growth” explains Jean-Claude Philippart, Project & Facility Manager at Trasis. “The number of employees is growing and the increase in our production capacity has made it necessary to adapt the storage and shipping areas. The management committee decided to build an additional building, connected to the existing infrastructure.”

The current premises, with more than 230 employees, will remain occupied, but the distribution of space dedicated to certain departments has been reviewed to better adapt to their needs.

The mechanical production workshop will be the first department to move to its new premises. The move is planned for the beginning of February 2023.
