[18F]FCholine
Commercially available: ready to use consumables and optimized method
Application
FluoroCholine (also called FCholine, FCH or [18F]FCH) is a PET diagnostic radiotracer used to detect metastatic prostate cancer, recurrent brain tumor and hepatocellular carcinoma.
Configuration
The FCH synthetic process is performed on the AllinOne automated synthesizer using a dedicated cassette and a reagent kit.
Advantages
- No volatiles generated during synthesis, unlike the older dibromomethane (DBM) method
- Residual DMAE 50 times below the Eur. Ph. limit
- Reproducible yield
- Plug and play, no laboratory bench preparation work
- Comprehensive consumables
